Pokemon Black Re-Play (2) — The Pinwheel Forest Chase

Hi there. Earlier this week, I started playing PM Black again. Here’s what’s happening so far…

I took out Cress from the Striaton City Gym. He’s one of the three Gym Leader siblings. Using my newly evolved Pignite and my Lvl 15 Pansage, I got myself the Trio Badge!

I always cringe when I look at that weird blue hair, seriously. XD

After doing a lot of stuff after that–battling Cheren and winning, taking back the Pokemon Team Plasma stole from a little girl and the subsequent Pokemon-catching and level ups– I took on Lenora of Nacrene City and won against her. I received the Basic Badge for that. 🙂

Lenora, one of my favorite Gym Leaders in Unova. I wonder what she’s doing with that lame-ass Hawes guy though. True love, I guess. lol

You all knew what happened after that. Team Plasma barged into the museum/Gym and stole the Dragon skull (Dragonite skull, from the look of it) from the center exhibit. So I was tasked to go after Team Plasma and retrieve the skull with (gay?) Castelia City Gym Leader, Burgh.

Anyway, before that, here’s my Pokemon team so far…

Pignite Lvl 26

Drilbur Lvl 26

Blitzle Lvl 26

Tranquill Lvl 26

I aim to add a Sewaddle  to my team, as my Grass-type. Pansage is cool, but I already took him all the way to the Elite Four during my first playthrough. This time, I want to use something new.  XD

More updates soon! XD

Pokemon Black Re-Play (1)

In anticipation of the new Pokemon games about to be released later this June–Pokemon Black and White 2, I’m having another playthrough with my Pokemon Black game, so I could tell people, “Hey, I’m in Unova too, battling trainers and catching Pokemon and stuff.”

If I don’t re-play the game, I’d be so jealous of people, Japanese people, pre-ordering copies and getting a Meloetta in a movie event, that I’d prolly just lay in bed and cry in the dark. That, or sneak into a plane heading to Japan with my DS Lite and my life’s savings.

So anyway, I just started my new playthrough and I’m in Route 1, battling the local Lillipup and Patrat with my kickass Tepig, Lvl 10.

Tepig (Fire Pig Pokemon) : It can deftly dodge its foe’s attacks while shooting fireballs from its nose. It roasts berries before it eats them.

And I caught two more Pokemon so I could show off to Cheren and Bianca. XD

Because I Love Monsters in Balls

I’ve always been a fan of the Pokemon game series. Admittedly, I’ve discovered the anime series first (back in grade school, it was the rage here in the Philippines in the late 1990s) and played my first game (Pokemon Yellow) back in high school using an emulator. After that discovery, I never looked back– I just kept loving and kept playing.

I was a kid then, and was badgering my Mom to buy me a Gameboy Advance SP. She told me: “After you graduated college and have a job, you can buy whatever you want.”

We’re not rich, we’re a middle class family that could think of better ways of spending a few thousand bucks. Buying a gadget on a boy’s whim was not one of them.

So I did what she said. And a few years later, bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite.

My DS and my Pokemon games 🙂

You couldn’t imagine the joy I felt when I started playing Pokemon HeartGold in it. One of my dreams: ACHIEVED!

It was just in time for the North American release of Pokemon Black and White too. Obviously, I had to buy myself a copy of one of the games!

Because I’ve always thought Reshiram was better-looking and decidedly more kickass than Zekrom. XD

My Pokemon Black team

Now, in June 23rd, Japan’s gonna release the sequel to the Pokemon Black and White games– Pokemon Black and White 2. Which means I get to have a copy featuring White Kyurem later this fall.

Yep. All good. XD
